The Global Town Halls, a series of virtual meetings organized by the Think Tanks and Civil Society Program (TTCSP) of the University of Pennsylvania, were held in 2020 and brought together more than 500 representatives of think tanks, experts, government officials and multilateral organizations.

CIPPEC participated in the Working Group “Being Fit for an Uncertain Future: New Operating Models for Think Tanks: Research, Communications and Funding”. Led by the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and the European Policy Center, it brought together more than 70 think tanks to exchange best practices and solutions to the problems and challenges faced by think tanks in the new global context.

We compiled the work done in a report where we share strategies and skills that will be necessary for decision making, research and policy recommendations, fundraising and communication in this new context of uncertainty. We invite you to read the report, available here.
